- I have been cutting up fabrics and playing with trims for as long as I can remember, so its not at all surprising that I found a job in costuming, where my creative needs could flourish. Violet Rose Designs came out of a desire to share colour, beauty and fun with others and to play with all the trims, beads and beautiful fabrics I have collected throughout my career in the performing arts.
